  • Caplow Manzano is hiring a mid-career professional with a strong technical background in construction and project management. This candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day construction on multiple residential projects.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist with Pre-Construction activities including but not limited to reviewing contract documents, setting project schedules, providing input on construction sequencing, verifying site logistics and safety setup;

    • Conduct daily site inspections to ensure all construction is in compliance with specifications and to quality standards and track as-built conditions; 

    • Ensure daily compliance with site safety and construction progress;

    • Work proactively with subcontractors to address and resolve on-site issues to avoid delays or rework;

    • Maintain detailed project records, including daily logs, progress reports, photos and inspections;

    • Maintain and review punch list process to ensure all are addressed and executed in a timely manner; 

    • Coordinate all field inspections and approvals;

    • Receive all material deliveries and verify quantities.

    Required Qualifications

    • A bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in construction management, engineering, or equivalent demonstrated experience in the field;

    • A minimum of 5-6 years work experience post-degree or at least 8 years in the field with no degree;

    • In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSHA guidelines. OSHA 10 or 30 hour certification a plus;

    • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities;

    • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction documents;

    • Experience with construction scheduling software;

    • Strong communication skills; sense of humor; poise under pressure.

  • We are hiring an Administrative Assistant / Social Media Coordinator to manage the front desk and run the company social media accounts.

    Responsibilities

    • Oversee daily office operations: calendars; coordinating meetings; general support to visitors; handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries; answering phone calls; replenish office supplies;

    • Maintain and expand our positive, friendly, and balanced team atmosphere;

    • Organize monthly team events;

    • Maintain and advance the company's social media accounts by creating content, responding to comments and messages, and staying up-to-date on trends and best practices;

    • Increase the visibility of the company through attendance at industry related events.

    Required Experience

    • Degree in communications, marketing, or related field;

    • 1-2 years experience managing social media accounts; 

    • Familiarity with all major social media platforms;

    • Personally organized, highly accurate, and detail-oriented;

    • Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines;

    • Ability to self-manage and work independently;

    • Outgoing and curious;

    • Strong communication skills; sense of humor; poise under pressure.
